This week's SMS was hosted by Stephanie of Ice Cream Before Dinner. Check her blog for the recipe :) If you like peanut butter cookies, give this one a try. They are deliciously chewy. It is my new go-to for the famously crisscrossed cookie!*My cookies crackled a bit on top.. I think I may have included too much baking soda. Regardless, they were still tasty!
Your cookies look terrific! The crosshatch is so prominent and perfect!
ReplyDeleteThe cookies look wonderful, great job! I actually really like the crackles, maybe because they seem to make the cross-hatch even more distinct?

ReplyDeleteHi Lauren!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by and saying hello- it was lovely to hear from you :) Your cookies look delicious (and what better accompaniment than a tall glass of milk!) Mine also had some crackling, so I think it's just the recipe. At first, the perfectionist in me was a little bothered by it, but in the end, I decided it just adds to their rustic homey appeal. Yours definitely look (more than!) good enough to eat!
Hope to talk to you again soon! Have a fantastic start to your week!
