[mini] Fallen Chocolate Souffle Cakes
This week's SMS challenge was chosen by Sarah of Blue Ridge Baker. The Fallen Chocolate Souffle Cake is a decadent and rich dessert. I decided to half the recipe and then make (4) minis. I am so glad that I did that because a full cake would have been overkill for me. My husband was out of town, so I had to pawn 3 of the minis off! My friends were happy to help out!!

I forgot to mention that it had an awesome chocolate/orange flavor! And... instead of Grand Marnier I used chocolate-cello :)
ReplyDeleteIce cream does sound like a great addition to this souffle. I loved mine with just fresh fruit, but ice cream sounds good too!

It looks lovely, especially with the chocolate drizzle! This was a perfect recipe for minis.
ReplyDeleteMmm Chocolatey Drizzlessss. Looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteThanks for baking with me this week! I'm so glad the minis worked out for you, they look great.
ReplyDeleteLovely minis! I wish I had made small cakes instead of the huge, huge, huge 10-incher! And your Dobos Torte looks beautiful too. I welched out on DB last month and keep feeling guilty!
ReplyDeleteYour mini souffles look terrific! I went the mini route too so I wouldn't have a huge cake hanging around. I know you said you preferred the souffle with just a little powdered sugar, but the one with the ice cream and chocolate sauce is making my mouth water :)
ReplyDeleteIce cream & chocolate sauce on a souffle!!! Yummmmmmmm... looks great!
ReplyDeleteoh wow. talk about indulgence on a plate!! absolutely drool worthy!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I'll bet your friends were happy to take these off your hands
